Your Child Deserves More Than Content Delivery
Virtualis offers a classical Christian education that forms the whole person — the whole child — ordered to Christ, all from the comfort of home. Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year is open now.
A clear path from first inquiry to first day of school.
Virtualis is not simply another online school. It is a Christian classical academy rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, uniting the Great Hearts liberal arts curriculum with the care of the whole human person — body, mind, and soul.
Enrolled families may qualify for telemedicine pediatric care through Vitae Health (opens in new tab). The Vitae Formation Program — ready for 2026–27 — will integrate physical education, Christian bioethics, and the theology of the body into the academic experience.
This is the education the Christian classical tradition has always understood: faith and reason, virtue and knowledge, ordered toward the glory of God. When a family chooses this path, they are joining a conversation that stretches from Athens through Jerusalem through Rome into Christendom and into your own home. The curriculum is rigorous, but the aim is older than any curriculum: the formation of a human being who can think clearly, feel deeply, judge rightly, and love what is worthy of love.

Virtualis families receive the full Great Hearts academic experience — live and asynchronous instruction in the liberal arts, sciences, and humanities — delivered by trained classical educators through a model refined across thirty brick-and-mortar academies. The curriculum is Socratic rather than lecture-based, rooted in primary sources rather than textbook summaries, and ordered toward the classical ideal of a student who reads well, writes well, reasons well, and loves what is true.
What Virtualis adds is the formation dimension that no other online school provides: a community rooted in faith, integrated telemedicine through Vitae Health (opens in new tab), and — ready for 2026–27 — the Vitae Formation Program for the body and soul alongside the mind. This is the Great Hearts curriculum that thousands of families already trust, layered with the Christian formation and medical care that the online version of Great Hearts cannot by itself provide.
When parents choose Virtualis, they are not choosing against Great Hearts — they are choosing Great Hearts and the things Great Hearts Online, as a charter-compliance program, cannot explicitly give: the name of Christ, the sacramental worldview as a reference point, and the body treated as a temple rather than as an afterthought.
Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.— Matthew 19:14
For the 2026–2027 academic year, Virtualis enrolls Kindergarten through 7th grade. High school grades are added one per year beginning Fall 2028 (Grade 9) — with a full K–12 program in place by the 2031–32 year. All enrolled students receive live instruction, asynchronous coursework, and access to our integrated formation program through Great Hearts Online.
